Effective Date: July 25, 2026
Welcome to Legal Intelligence Center. These legal terms of use govern your access to and use of the Legal Intelligence Center website, assessment tools, practical guides, educational materials, generated reports, forms, and related features collectively referred to as the “Website.”
By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these legal terms of use. Do not use the Website if you do not agree to these terms.
1. Educational Purpose
Legal Intelligence Center provides general educational legal resources, issue-spotting tools, practical information, and resources intended to help consumers become better informed about legal subjects.
The Website does not provide individualized legal advice. Information presented through the Website is general in nature and may not apply to your particular facts, circumstances, location, or legal matter.
Nothing on the Website should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney who has reviewed your specific situation.
2. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Accessing the Website, completing an assessment, generating or receiving a report, downloading a guide, submitting a general inquiry, or communicating through the Website does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship.
An attorney-client relationship is created only after:
- an attorney has reviewed the matter;
- any required conflict-of-interest review has been completed;
- the attorney has expressly agreed to provide legal services; and
- both the attorney and client have entered into a written engagement agreement.
These legal terms of use are not an engagement agreement and do not require any attorney to accept or evaluate a matter.
Any legal services that may later be offered will be provided under a separate written agreement by an attorney authorized to provide those services in the applicable jurisdiction.
3. Assessment Tools and Generated Reports
Legal Intelligence Center assessments are educational issue-spotting tools. They are not legal evaluations, legal opinions, eligibility determinations, predictions of case outcomes, or substitutes for professional judgment.
Assessment results depend on the information selected or provided by the user. Results may be incomplete or inaccurate when information is misunderstood, omitted, entered incorrectly, or not addressed by the assessment.
Scores, classifications, risk levels, recommendations, timelines, and generated reports are intended to organize educational information. They do not establish that:
- you have or do not have a legal claim;
- you qualify for a particular procedure, benefit, remedy, or defense;
- a court, agency, attorney, insurer, creditor, employer, or other person will agree with the result;
- your matter will succeed; or
- a particular outcome will occur.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a written engagement agreement, assessment answers and generated reports are not individually reviewed by an attorney.
4. No Guarantee of Results
Legal Intelligence Center does not guarantee any legal, financial, administrative, or personal result.
Descriptions of possible rights, options, procedures, risks, or outcomes are educational only. Each matter depends on its particular facts, available evidence, applicable law, procedural history, jurisdiction, deadlines, and the decisions of courts, agencies, attorneys, and other parties.
Past results, examples, illustrations, testimonials, or hypothetical scenarios do not guarantee or predict similar results in another matter.
5. Deadlines, Emergencies, and Urgent Matters
The Website does not monitor legal deadlines and should not be used to calculate or determine statutes of limitation, filing deadlines, response dates, appeal periods, notice requirements, hearing dates, or other time-sensitive obligations unless a particular tool expressly states otherwise.
Even when the Website discusses a deadline, exceptions or different rules may apply.
Do not delay seeking professional assistance because of information obtained through the Website. Immediately contact a qualified attorney, court, government agency, emergency service, or other appropriate professional when:
- a deadline may be approaching;
- you have been served with legal documents;
- a court hearing has been scheduled;
- you are facing eviction, foreclosure, loss of custody, arrest, deportation, domestic violence, or immediate financial harm;
- your health or safety may be at risk; or
- your matter otherwise requires urgent attention.
The Website is not an emergency service and is not monitored continuously.
6. Jurisdiction and Changes in Law
Laws and procedures vary among federal, state, tribal, county, and local jurisdictions. Materials identified with a particular jurisdiction should not be assumed to apply elsewhere.
Legal rules, court procedures, government forms, agency policies, filing fees, eligibility requirements, and official guidance may change after the Website content is published or reviewed.
Legal Intelligence Center may identify the date on which certain materials were last reviewed, but does not guarantee that every page, assessment, report, source, or external link reflects the most recent legal development.
Users are responsible for confirming current requirements through official sources or a qualified attorney.
7. Communications and Confidential Information
Do not submit confidential, privileged, highly sensitive, or time-critical information through a general contact form, feedback form, assessment response, or email unless the Website specifically requests that information for an attorney consultation.
Submitting information does not guarantee that an attorney will review or respond to it, and it does not prevent an attorney from representing another person unless applicable law or professional-conduct rules provide otherwise.
A person who consults with an attorney for the purpose of seeking legal services may have rights under applicable prospective-client rules. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any duty that cannot lawfully be waived.
Before an attorney-client relationship is established, avoid submitting unnecessary information concerning:
- Social Security numbers;
- complete financial-account numbers;
- passwords or access credentials;
- medical records;
- private information about children;
- confidential business information;
- privileged communications;
- evidence that must be preserved; or
- detailed information about opposing parties.
When requesting a consultation, provide only the information reasonably necessary to identify the general nature of the matter and allow an initial conflict review.
8. Privacy and Data Processing
Information submitted through the Website may be processed, transmitted, and stored by Legal Intelligence Center and by service providers used to operate website forms, hosting, scheduling, communications, analytics, security, and related functionality.
Although reasonable measures may be used to protect information, no website, email system, hosting platform, or electronic transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Third-Party Websites and Official Sources
The Website may link to courts, legislatures, government agencies, bar associations, legal-aid organizations, commercial services, or other third-party resources.
Links are provided for convenience and educational reference. Legal Intelligence Center does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, security, privacy practices, accessibility, availability, accuracy, services, or subsequent changes.
A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, or a guarantee that the linked information applies to your situation.
Users should independently review the terms and policies of third-party websites.
10. Intellectual Property
Except for materials identified as belonging to another person or materials that are not subject to private ownership, the Website and its original content are owned by or licensed to Legal Intelligence Center and its creator.
Protected materials may include:
- the Legal Intelligence Center name, logo, branding, slogans, and visual presentation;
- original written explanations and practical guides;
- assessment questions and answer structures;
- the selection, sequence, arrangement, and organization of assessment content;
- scoring systems, issue-spotting frameworks, recommendation structures, and report formats;
- original graphics, images, icons, and interface designs;
- source code, scripts, software, databases, and technical configurations; and
- compilations, adaptations, and original educational content.
Legal Intelligence Center does not claim ownership of statutes, regulations, judicial opinions, government forms, public-domain materials, general legal principles, facts, or materials owned by third parties.
Subject to these Terms, users receive a limited, personal, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access the Website and use an individually generated report for their own personal, noncommercial, educational purposes.
No ownership rights are transferred to the user.
11. Prohibited Uses
Without prior written permission, users may not:
- reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Website content;
- copy or adapt assessment questions, answer structures, scoring logic, reports, guides, code, or interface designs for another website, product, or service;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, index, extract, or systematically collect Website content or user-interface elements;
- use automated tools, bots, scripts, artificial-intelligence systems, or data-extraction methods to copy or reproduce substantial portions of the Website;
- reverse engineer, decompile, decode, disassemble, or attempt to discover protected source code or underlying logic;
- remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices;
- bypass access restrictions, security protections, usage limits, or technical safeguards;
- frame, mirror, impersonate, or create the appearance that Website content belongs to or is endorsed by another person or organization;
- use the Website to provide unauthorized legal services or falsely represent that Website materials constitute individualized legal advice;
- interfere with Website operation, security, availability, or other users; or
- use the Website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or harmful purposes.
These restrictions do not prohibit uses that cannot lawfully be restricted, including any applicable rights of fair use.
12. User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate and complete information;
- reviewing assessment answers and generated reports for errors;
- preserving original documents and evidence;
- independently confirming legal deadlines and official requirements;
- consulting an appropriate professional when individualized advice is needed; and
- determining whether a resource is appropriate for your jurisdiction and circumstances.
You should not make significant legal, financial, medical, tax, employment, family, or business decisions based solely on Website content.
13. Website Availability and Modification
Legal Intelligence Center may add, remove, suspend, restrict, modify, or discontinue any part of the Website at any time.
The Website may experience interruptions, errors, incompatibilities, maintenance periods, data loss, or technical failures. Legal Intelligence Center does not guarantee that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device, browser, operating system, or assistive technology.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website and all content, assessments, reports, guides, links, and related services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
Legal Intelligence Center disclaims, to the fullest extent permitted by law, warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, security, and availability.
Nothing in this section excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legal Intelligence Center and its owners, creators, attorneys, contractors, service providers, licensors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of—or inability to use—the Website.
This includes alleged damages arising from reliance on educational content, missed deadlines, incomplete or incorrect information, assessment results, technical failures, third-party resources, unauthorized access, lost data, lost opportunities, or decisions made by the user or another person.
16. Suspension or Termination of Access
Legal Intelligence Center may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Website when it reasonably believes a user has violated these legal terms of use, infringed intellectual-property rights, threatened Website security, misused an assessment tool, or engaged in unlawful or harmful conduct.
Provisions concerning intellectual property, prohibited use, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law, and dispute resolution will survive termination.
17. Governing Law and Venue
These legal terms of use and disputes relating to Website use will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent permitted by law, any legal proceeding concerning these Terms or Website use must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
This provision does not prevent a consumer from asserting rights that cannot lawfully be waived under the law applicable to that consumer.
18. Changes to These Terms
Legal Intelligence Center may revise these legal terms of use periodically. Updated Terms will be posted on the Website with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Website after revised legal terms of use are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law. Material changes may also be communicated through an additional Website notice when appropriate.
19. Severability and No Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
